THE SITUATION:
Our second season sponsoring NYFW, we not only wanted to bring awareness to scale again but we also wanted to bring the actual fashion to the scale too. Because who doesn’t deserve to feel like a baddie?
THE INSIGHT:
Runway fashion (and just fashion in general) can feel very out of reach to most people.
THE IDEA:
We set out to democratize high fashion and show our audience how to translate runway into reality. We brought in fashion journalist and style expert Elaine Welteroth to curate our “Wear the Runway” content series. Elaine identified key trends from New York Fashion Week and translated them into fashion-forward yet wearable looks. All with Cash Back, of course.
THE RESULTS:
The results positioned Rakuten not just as a savings tool, but as a (literally) valuable shopping companion, helping people discover what to buy, not just save at checkout.
